Jean Louis Scherrer Haute Couture Little Black Dress
About the Item
A quintessential "LBD", this lovely 60's Scherrer haute couture dinner/cocktail dress is ideal to complete any modern wardrobe. Cut from black silk organza which is flocked with velvety polka-dots, the dress is outlined throughout with matching velvet to streamline the flattering "fit-and-flare" silhouette. While the chic round neckline is perfect for showcasing a few dainty chains, the plunging cut at the back is totally glamorous ! Split mini hem. Fully lined in matching black silk, the dress closes with a concealed zip, hook and eye in the middle at the back. Style it with strappy sandals and a micro bag.
Fits approx. : US 0-4 (small US 4) / UK 4-8 (small UK (8) / FR 32-36 (small FR 36) / IT 36-40 (small IT 40)
Remark : as you can see on pictures 12 and 13, we were not able to fasten the dress properly on our display mannequin (which is however an US size 4). So, as the dress is slightly too small for it, the bust fit should actually be much more fitted/adjusted than in our pictures. For example, it should not create a crease towards the armpit (see picture 4).
